BOD notes from 1-16-06 meeting

Memebers Present: Charlie T(CT) , Jeff S(JS), Bekah J(BJ), Laural W(LW)
Ted R (TR) and Jonerick R (JER) not present

Next Meeting sunday Feb 5th, then HEM BOD to schedule a meeting w/ David
Atkins' office.

JS and LW to inquire Oregon Community Credit Union about an HEM bank Account
w/ Debit card

BJ gave JS NYE reciepts $220 total. $100 reimbursed to CT, $100 to be
reimbursed to TR

JS and CT to investigate whether or not AMEX account/card to be a wise
inclusion to HEM finances if we cannot secure a card w/ OCCU or Pac. Cont.
~JS will gather out tax ID # for this purpose

Can we staff/recruit enough folks to go after Cuthbert Contract?

Bekah to make a email list for potential volunteers while HEM provides
services to contracted events, and also spruce up the current HEM
application

LWl indicated she knows a website designer to help tighten up our patchwork
quilt of a website, JS will follow up with info condusive to such

JS made a motion to remove TS from Secretary postion for HEM, CT seconded,
all approved unanaimously

CT made a motion to add BJ to HEM BOD, JS seconded, all approved unanimously

(HEM will need to fill Secretary position, JS believes it to be wise to
nominate LW)

~recuitment.. Should HEM advertise in the EW, Ticket, Colleges, Med
Facilities?
BJ will call JS w/ info on First aid TRAINER programs. Either JS or BJ will
pursue such credentials

JER needs to aquire HEM some female-cut tshirts

CT will attempt to renegotiate our contract w/ the McDonald Theatre. BJ and
CT believe we are selling ourselves short considering signifigant amount of
labor provided to NYE show at McD..

BJ will attempt to gather a permanant spot at the McD for HEM to store
supplies
