BOD Minutes for 4/24/06

Members present- Charlie Thompson, Bekah Johnson, Allan Erickson, Jeff Sutton, Michelle Lowentritt, and Laural Wiley.

CT made a motion to nominate ML to be a board member at large. BJ 2nds motion. All present voted yes.

Members discussed the Northwest String Summit contract proposal. Everyone agrees 15 is too few to staff. Would like 18-23 staff passes. We will compile statistics of previous years shows. Present patient #s and med. Supply cost/day to promoter to convince need for larger staff presence at NWSS. JS will find past data. ML will type with BJ assisting.

JS is in contact with artist interested in design work for logo, media, brochures, stickers. Website address to be on stickers.

Reviewed JS’s Roles and Responsibilities for Executive Director. Some duties were reassigned to other members. See hardcopy of this document with assigned names to tasks on file. Replacement Executive director still needs nominations of new candidates. 6 duties and lead staff position still need to be filled before JS resignation occurs.

BJ and LW to work together on completion of website.

Mc D. Inventory write up made by BJ. BJ will submit to ML for typing. Mc D supplies have been divided from other fest Supplies.

ML to create spreadsheet for scheduling. Email to BJ when finished.

AE will create brochure to be submitted to lawyer David Atkins with 501c3 Application .

JS to get shelving unit from Costco for 2nd supply set.

LW reimbursed for business cards and Fuel.

HEM will pursue purchasing Laptop for organization. Members will explore options.
